Recently in the
news and on television there has been a great deal of coverage with regards to
obesity in young children due to lack of exercise. Here at Croydon School of
Gymnastics we have a team of dedicated coaches whose aim it is to encourage all
children to take up the sport of Gymnastics. As Gymnastics is the basis of all
sport and is one of very few sports that a child as young as age one can start,
the concept of early learning has proven without doubt to be effective on the
physical and mental development of children, raising their levels of awareness
and improved grasp of any situation.
Gymnastics
with its spectacular development remains the cornerstone of any sporting
activity in which participation opens infinite sporting horizons. Gymnastics not
only sets children up for life physically and mentally, but actually disciplines
them as well as.
We feel as a sports
club serving our community it is our duty to offer a programme so all children
no matter what age, level or ability they are, they can experience a sport that
is both challenging and fun.
