Croydon School of Gymnastics is completely self-funded. It has a small team of volunteers who sit on the club's executive committee to ensure the smooth day to day running of the club. This committee is made up of Chairman, Vice Chairman, Treasurer, Secretary, Administrator and Head Coach & Director of Training. The club also has a fund raising team of volunteers plus a staff of qualified and trainee coaches.
The vast majority of our children will never reach Squad status, but we are as proud of their development and achievements as were are of our top performers. All our children progress systematically through the classes in our pyramid structure, with our recreational classes forming a strong base and our Squads forming the peak.
Kindergarten Classes work on the club's own Kinder Award Scheme: Bronze, Silver and Gold, before moving into our recreational classes where they work on the club's Merit Award scheme. This develops in difficulty from Merit Award One to Merit Award Six. However, throughout their time at the club, the gymnasts are being constantly observed and considered for promotion into the Men's or Women's Squads. Once Squad status has been achieved, the gymnasts' aim is to work towards competitive Men's and Women's Artistic Gymnastics as laid down by the London Gymnastics Federation. Many successes at these levels have been achieved, as seen in the "Past Successes" section of the club history.

Class fees and Assessments
ASSESSMENTS
The club offers the opportunity for a child to attend an assessment for a period of 6 weeks before deciding to enrol for full membership to the club. This gives a child the opportunity to see if they enjoy the gymnastics class and for us to see that they are placed in the most suitable class for their age and ability.

Annual Membership runs from 1st October - 30th September
For Competitive Gymnasts:-
Full Annual Membership @ £60.00
For Parent & Toddler Class Members:-
Full Annual Membership (Under 5's) @ £15.00
From April 2008 this will be £8.00
For weekday Special Needs Class Members:-
Full Annual Membership @ £25.00
From April 2008 this will be £13.50
For All Other Members:-
Full Annual Membership @ £50.00
Temporary Membership for 6 sessions within a 13 week Period @ £27.50
Upgrade to Associate Membership after Trial Period @ £27.50
From April 2008 this will be a one off payment of £27.50
Please note - Assessment period requires a Temporary Membership & Insurance and is payable on the
second visit.
On the completion of 6 sessions, all temporary members wishing to enrol will need to upgrade their
membership and insurance to Associate Membership.
